Enter U.A. High School
Episode 3 introduces U.A. High School, the premier institution for aspiring heroes. Deku’s entrance into this prestigious academy marks a significant milestone in his journey. The school is not just a training ground but also a battleground where students are tested to their limits. The competitive environment is vividly depicted, emphasizing that only the best can survive and thrive here.
The Entrance Exam
The episode focuses on the U.A. High School entrance exam, a test that pushes candidates to their limits. Deku, despite his newfound Quirk, struggles to control it. The exam is a high-stakes, action-packed sequence that showcases the diverse Quirks of other aspiring heroes. Deku’s initial struggles and his determination to help others, even at the cost of his own success, highlight his selfless nature.
A Heroic Rescue
In a defining moment, Deku’s bravery shines through when he saves Ochaco Uraraka, a fellow exam candidate, from a formidable robot. Despite knowing that using One For All could harm him, Deku’s instinct to protect others prevails. And finally the challenge is on and we finally know the enduring and gruelling tasks our young protagonist will have to take on in order to be worthy of All Might’s One For All quirk.
It seems as is our non-hero may just make it into the very prestigious school for Heroes, UA High.
By the end of the episode Deku has cleared an entire beach of tons and tons of trash and junk over 10 months and has earned All Might’s trust and support to go to UA High.
Even more spectacularly, All Might reveals the true nature of his abilities and even gives Deku a taste, literally
