Final Thoughts:
Episode 7 introduces a more playful yet intense aspect of the Hunter Exam through Netero’s challenge. The insights into Gon and Killua’s characters make this episode a fascinating look at what drives these young aspirants.
My Thoughts:
In the next episode Gon and Killua are actually offered the ability to fast track their way to a Hunter’s License courtesy of a once in a lifetime “game” presented by Netwro to the duo.
Simply grab the athletic ball he is holding onto by 8 AM the next morning (9 hours away) and they will be granted their licenses right then and there.
The two fight and fight and fight and man do I mean they went hard. But to no avail Netero, the old geezer is quicker, sharper and completely OP.
Killua gives up , but young Gon sticks around for some lessons from the old man before heading off. This also shows the differences between the two; Gon seems to be more thoughtful and calmer. Killua is quick to anger and very brash in comparison. The two ultimately are going to make an amazing team. Excited to see where this goes from here.
