My Thoughts:
Very interesting start to an anime. Our star character, as the title implies is Nina. Nina is a poor young girl that is unfortunately sold by her family to travelers. They initially think she is a boy and will be useful for work and labor; ironically the travelers recently lost a half-sister whom was a princess. This female in disguise, Nina is then utilized as a defacto (imposter) princess.
Not sure if the slavery style matches well with rags to riches but very interested to see where the creators are going with this.
