The episode introduces a range of new characters, each with unique Quirks and personalities, enriching the narrative and expanding the world of “My Hero Academia.” The diverse cast of students adds depth and variety to the story, setting the stage for future character development and interactions.
Meeting Class 1-A
Deku’s first day at U.A. is filled with anticipation and anxiety. He meets his classmates, including familiar faces like Bakugo and Uraraka, and new ones like the enigmatic Shoto Todoroki and the bubbly Mina Ashido. The dynamic between these characters, especially the tension with Bakugo, adds layers to the narrative. Each character’s introduction hints at their potential and the unique challenges they will bring to Deku’s journey.
The Quirk Apprehension Test
The episode features the Quirk Apprehension Test, conducted by the strict and mysterious teacher Shota Aizawa, also known as Eraser Head. This test evaluates the students’ abilities and pushes them to demonstrate their Quirks in various physical challenges. Deku’s struggle to control One For All and his eventual success in finding a way to use his power without injuring himself showcase his ingenuity and determination. The episode ends with a sense of accomplishment and the realization that Deku’s journey has truly begun.
My Thoughts:
This is one of my favorite episodes we get some good screen time for my all time and only favorite anime character and only True hero Ochaco Uraraka.
I didn’t realize how much she is involved and that she literally saves Deku from falling twice, once being lifesaving for sure!!!
