Air Date: July 19, 2019
Summary: In the third episode of “Dr. Stone,” the brewing tension between Senku and Tsukasa comes to a head. Tsukasa reveals his belief that only the pure-hearted should be revived, advocating for a world without the corruption of the old civilization. Senku, dedicated to the idea of reviving all of humanity and rebuilding society through science, sees Tsukasa as a potential threat.
To protect themselves and their vision, Senku decides to create weapons using his scientific knowledge. He begins by making gunpowder, a crucial step in ensuring their survival against Tsukasa’s formidable strength. The episode delves into the ethical implications of their actions, exploring the balance between scientific progress and moral responsibility.
Key Points:
- Tsukasa’s vision of a new world and his opposition to reviving everyone.

My thoughts:
Yuzuriha is the Ochaco of Dr Stone “ I’ll help in any way that I can!”
After realizing that they can’t defeat the super strong one they banned together and realize that they must use science and intelligence in order to defeat the cause of the antagonist. This dynamic is very interesting, and it comes to the forefront that the antagonist realizes that the one guy will defend his girlfriend at all cost or the woman that he loves so he can use that as a bargaining chip or leverage in order to get what he wants out of the situation, it is devious manipulation that makes him not only strong physical strength, but also mental acuity as well they then set off on a journey to find what they called weapons of science, which is interesting because this also takes us down a rabbit hole of them all traveling to find these things, but it gives us some of the best use of the known world as it’s now. The irony of finding the Buddhist statue and realizing that they finally have their coordinates in this new world is a complete reference to them being completely centered for the first time in the series. This is also where their history starts to come into playing some older memories start to come back.
