With each episode, the stakes continue to rise, and this one is no exception—it dives deeper into the strange bond between the alien and spiritual worlds and teases the true extent of Ken’s powers.
Plot Summary
The episode opens with Ken and Momo taking a break from their intense battles to visit the old occult specialist again, hoping she can shed light on Ken’s unusual powers and the bizarre events that have been following them. During their visit, she reveals more about the dark forces at play, hinting at an ancient connection between spirits and aliens that goes beyond their recent encounters. Her cryptic warnings make it clear that Ken and Momo are far from understanding the true nature of their enemies.
Just as they leave the specialist’s shop, the two find themselves cornered by a mysterious figure—another spirit user who seems to know more about Ken’s powers than they do. This stranger challenges Ken to a duel, believing that his alien-given abilities pose a threat to the balance between spirits and humans. The ensuing battle pushes Ken to his limits, forcing him to dig deep to understand and harness his alien powers fully.
Momo, on the other hand, tries to stop the fight, but her spiritual abilities clash with the stranger’s powers, leading to a tense showdown that leaves both her and Ken questioning the true scope of their abilities. In the heat of the battle, Ken taps into a new power he didn’t know he possessed, surprising both the stranger and Momo. With the stranger finally defeated, they escape the scene, shaken but determined to uncover the truth behind Ken’s powers.
Character Development
Episode 5 brings a new layer of growth for Ken, who is starting to see himself as more than just Momo’s sidekick. His struggles to control his powers reflect his ongoing journey toward self-acceptance and responsibility. He realizes that his abilities aren’t just a gift; they come with a heavy responsibility, especially if they have the potential to disrupt the balance between the spirit and human worlds.
Meanwhile, Momo’s protective instincts are on full display as she does everything in her power to shield Ken from harm. Her loyalty and determination to support Ken, even as she’s discovering her own limits, reveal her growing investment in their partnership. This episode deepens her character, showing that while she’s powerful, she’s also vulnerable when it comes to those she cares about.

My Thoughts:
Our two monogamous heroes that are always seen together finally have to go back to their normal, and separate lives. And instead of acknowledging that they like eachother they both resort to feeling bad for themselves and avoiding one another as if the last 4 episodes of badass crime fighting hasn’t happened.
What an awkward start to the episode on the heels of crushing turbo granny. And then when they finally find each other they are about to share a moment until other people show up and they go back to pretending like they don’t know each other.
No time for feeling bad after school the two reunite and her grandmas for the next stage replacing or locating his balls.. yes his baklava. Back to normal awkward and hilarious Dan Da Dan!
Turbo granny is brought out of Ken’s body and into a good luck cat and declares she has him by the balls literally and gives them a murderous plan to get them back
