My Thoughts:
After showing that even with defective gear, his own shear will got him through cadet training, Eren in emboldened as the newest accepted enlistee to the regiment. This episode really shows Eren getting flung into battle right away and getting his ass kicked repeatedly.
This is supposedly to “build his character” and toughen him up, but you can’t help but feel bad for the poor kid.
This episode culminates when practice turns into the real deal and actual titans show up at the wall and punch a hole through it.
