This is a very unique and interesting anime for me as it hits on a topic / sport that I’m already a huge fan of which is soccer. I’ve been a Manchester United fan for years; never actually got good at playing but have a few Fifa PS5 Wins undeinteresting.Isagi the main character and protagonist is a high-school hopeful with dreams bigger than j think he even initially realizes. He of course wants to go Pro and be a legend. When the government announces project Blue Lock he is keen to be a part of it,but the competition is immensely stiff.In fact he is 1/300 students that are all vying for one position; the lead sticker for the Japanese national team and the goal of winning the World Cup. I think this anime has a lot to go off of and can grow into a lot of different ways. For example I know that offense in sports normally gets the most shine and so the fact that they have aligned that so quickly in the beginning tells me there may be some plot twists. Goalies and defenders are hugely important and obviously essential to winning especially at the World Cup level.
